Holmenkollen Ski Museum

We are on the move again headed out to the ski museum with the main purpose to be to zip line our way down from the top.

Still looking for Diet Coke
Oh. My. Goodness. My favorite cheese in the whole entire world.
This guy is having a really bad day.
And once again we just missed the train. Guess that means we have time to find a snack since we haven’t really had breakfast yet.
I chose this cinnamon roll only to find out it wasn’t that at all but rather some sort of cheese roll.
Still on the unsuccessful hunt for the elusive Diet Coke
I think they are laughing at the automated voice that says “doors closing” we think in Norwegian. The first time we were here Greg basically said this one repeat. We had forgotten about it until today.
Really hoping that this trip is uneventful. Last time we got ticketed by the enforcement people for not having the right tickets. Not because we didn’t want to buy them. Just because we are stupid.

Thankfully no issues on the train. We are off and headed uphill to the museum.

Beautiful views!
So….apparently we aren’t seeing any of the museum. Straight up to the ski jump for us.

Selfie before we zip line down

Maddie and I went first so I could video Jake. Jake and Brooks were next so Logan could take pics of Jake. There are obviously no pics of really anyone. But Jake. 🙂

Proof of life. Team Baker plus one 🙂

Some kids ran past us and I was like oh look, it’s a cross country team. That is until they started putting on skies on rollers that you actually can’t see at all in this pic. I feel like they were training for something I should know about. Words aren’t coming to me.

Next up is a stave Church. These Church’s are almost only found here.

View of the ski jump. I’m honestly now sure how anyone is like this is a sport I want to do. For fun.

And now it’s time to head back toward town to find lunch. Back down the hill we go to the train.

Can’t stop with pics of the views
Did I mention that Greg is searching for Diet Coke?
